C. Eric Hintz

Eric’s practice focuses on litigation, and he has represented clients in a range of criminal appellate, post-conviction, and civil litigation matters. Eric was formerly an associate with Shapiro Arato Bach and now practices with the firm while serving as a criminal law professor at the University of Missouri.

Prior to joining Shapiro Arato Bach, Eric clerked for a federal appellate judge and a federal district judge, served as a research fellow at Penn Law’s Quattrone Center for the Fair Administration of Justice, and worked as a litigation associate at a major Wall Street firm. Eric has also taught federal habeas corpus as a lecturer at Penn Law.
